BRAD BERNSTEIN GOES FROM MOTORSPORTS PHOTOGRAPHER TO RACE CAR DRIVER

After making friends with several drivers and crew members, Brad took their advice
and began racing in go karts. From 4 cycle methanol burning Karts to 125cc Shifter Karts, Brad gained experience with faster and faster vehicles. In 2000 Brad made the jump to cars and continued to build experience. Brad drove Spec Racer Fords, Radical “D” Sports Racers, Spec Miata’s, and even the old Swift 014 Toyota Atlantic.

In 2006 - 2008 Brad consistently campaigned in RF 03 Van Dieman in the SCCA Formula Atlantic Class. Finishing the 2008 season with 1 race win, numerous 2nds and 3rds, and the SCCA Regional Championship! In 2009 running a limited schedule Brad still claimed 2nd place in the regional points standings. 2010 looks to be the best year yet, having teamed up with the professional championship race winning US Racetronics Team. Brad will be driving the Swift 016 Formula Atlantic Car, with high hopes of many podium finishes, and sitting on top of the points standings at the end of the season.

Perhaps one of the biggest reasons I enjoy this, is you get to work with and make friends and develop relationships with some really good and smart people who share the same passions and just plain get it. I do get asked many times why I do this, as admittedly there is a risk to doing this. My answer is, if I have to explain it to you, you will never understand it. Just come out to the races with us, hang out and have a good time.

"For me the parallels of racing and life are very real. Everything you experience in life over weeks and years, you will experience in one race. It’s just that the consequences can be large and immediate. As Steve McQueen once said, 'Racing is life, everything else is
just waiting.' "

"ACN has renewed my passion for the opportunity to attain great success in business by pouring all of your self into the service of others. This truly is a business that repays you as you help others. It’s called win win, and it’s real. The business model is simple, but requires work. If you simply help others get what they want, you will have all that you want."

"Photography is my creative outlet, and has been a way to travel and meet many very creatively talented individuals. Photography has always been a passion. The challenge in motorsports photography is to capture a very fast, loud, colorful moments of hi speed action in one still image. It’s much harder to do well than you might think."
